The Guardian II access control system is a joint venture between Datakey Electronics and Larco Manufacturing, both divisions of ATEK Products, LLC. Larco is a recognized brand leader of door access systems. The Guardian II access control system gives users enhanced security and reduced costs in comparison to mechanical locks, networked access systems, and other stand-alone access controllers.
The Guardian II system utilizes custom versions of Datakey Electronics’ rugged memory keys for both user identification and data transfer to and from the controllers in the field. The use of these rugged, reusable memory keys provides increased functionality and flexibility, enhances ease-of-use and user satisfaction, and eliminates the need to deal with fragile cards or less secure PIN codes. It also means that administrators will never have to carry a laptop out into the field to program a controller.
With the Guardian II access control system, you can:
