SERIAL MEMORY - KEYS, TOKENS & PLUGS
Serial EEPROM — Available with SPI, I2C and Microwire interfaces with memory capacities ranging from 1Kbit to 1Mbit. EEPROMs are ideally suited for low to medium data logging, parameter/configuration upload, data storage, and access control applications.
Serial Flash (SPI) — Available with memory capacities ranging from 1Mbit to 64Mbit, our line of SPI Flash Keys and Tokens complements our Microwire and SPI EEPROM lines. These devices are page writable and are used primarily for high-volume data logging and firmware update applications.

NOTE: Standard (3.3V) SPI Flash devices are recommended for all new applications. The 5-Volt Series was developed from customer demand to implement the benefit of SPI Flash devices in existing systems where only 5V is available.
NOTE: All Microwire devices manufactured after 1/1/06 use wide-voltage range (2.7 - 5.5V) ICs. The Bulk Erase command is not supported at < 4.6V.
